FRANCE;  More than 300 people gathered in Is-sur-Tille in

November to unveil a stone memorial honoring U.S. soldiers

who fought  in France during World War I.  A project of the

Rotary Club of Dijon-Toison d'Or, the monument incorporates

a sound system that plays  four minutes in English and French

about the U.S. Army camp and supply depot that stood in the

town.  More than two million men and four million tons of supplies

passed through the camp  between 1917 and 1920.

Dharmesh has cut a slot in his bottle so it will accept coins larger than a dime.  PSNC, Jack Holmes' employer, donates $2,000 to Relay for Life each year;   Polk and  Rutherfordton counties each getting $1,000.  The Bike Tour is our most productive fundraiser of the year.  Jim Scott has sent letters  to previous participants asking them to be sponsors this year.  Chuck Britton has sponsorship forms for anyone who needs more.

Sgt. At Arms Highlights:  Dharmesh Madnani conducted the Sgt. at Arms, collecting many sad, happy, and anniversary $.  Harry was happy about his 11th year with his wife.  Ray was
