Thermal Belt Rotary Club has chosen Olivia Skellie of Landrum High School to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership conference in Brevard NC.  This leadership conference is June 14 to 20 at the Brevard Music Center.

Ms. Skellie will be among the more than 100 students from Western North Carolina to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Conference.   This conference is aimed at developing the leadership potential of young students.  The conference will feature many thought provoking events including interactive Leadership Labs, exciting guest speakers, and challenging mental and physical activities.   The students will be interactive in decision-making, critical thinking, communicating effectively, ethics and public service.

Olivia, is a member of the Landrum High School Interact Club.   She is very active in school activities.   She would like to be an architect after college.   She is the daughter of David and Caroline Skellie of Campobello SC.

Congratulations from the Thermal Belt Rotary Club.
